Covenants (The Blood Legacy Saga Book 1)
About
When Lance and Jade met as children something manifested…something primal, something dark. Fourteen years later, the darkness calls to them once more…this time it demands blood.
Jade never imagined she would see him again–the pale boy from the school library who had haunted her dreams for fourteen years.
Lance had been rescued by her in his nightmares countless times but never imagined she would still be in their hometown.
Fate had different plans...
After family obligations pull them back to Keystone, they are unknowingly paired on a blind date by their best friends and realize that the connection they share is undeniable. But mysterious deaths and a gypsy’s dark prophecy propel them into a whirlwind of danger, where Lance learns that his blood contains the secret origins of vampires–blood that made him the target of a rogue vampire faction.
Together with their friends, Jade and Lance are trust into a high action race against time to stop his transition into an original vampire, while trying to survive the supernatural world. A world where, the brutal orders of a secret society rule, a villainous organization will stop at nothing to possess Lance and family secrets can be the difference between life and death.
Chance brought them together. Love sealed their fate. Can they survive a deadly vampire world where secrets can kill and humanity comes with a timer?
Fast paced. Action packed. Deliciously scary creatures. And beautifully romantic.
Praise for this book
Covenants was a perfect surprise wrapped in a book. A great vampire reading that doesn’t follow all the same old stories out there. A fresh approach and a page turner for me...
I had a great time reading this book. If you are a fan of paranormal fantasy, with a beautiful romance within the pages, I can’t recommend this book enough. I hope you love it as much as I did. Now I’m off to book 2, Shatters.
This is a great start to a new exciting series with many twist and turns which had me guessing while the pace, fast and flowing, kept me on the edge of my seat. Once I started reading, I couldn't stop. I’m also a sucker for the good old fate and destiny intrigue so when questions around Lancelot and Jade’s missed encounter 14 years ago began to develop, I was hooked. Definitely one not to be missed, I’m looking forward to the next installment in the saga.
